PLANT STYLING
Jacinta's Top 3 Tips
SCALE
Understanding the relationship of scale between pot and plant. Ensure that the size of the pot complements the size of the plant. A pot that is too small for the plant might restrict its growth and lead to root-bound issues.
On the other hand, a pot that is too large can dwarf a small plant and create an unbalanced look. Aim for a pot that provides enough room for the plant to grow comfortably while leaving a bit of space for the roots to expand.
COLOUR
Consider the colour of both the pot and the plant. Harmonizing or contrasting colors can add depth and visual interest to the arrangement. A monochromatic look can be soothing and elegant, while contrasting colors can create a vibrant and eye-catching display.
ENVIRONMENT
Different plants have unique needs in terms of sunlight, water, and soil conditions. Make sure the pot and plant combination aligns with the plant's specific requirements.
Some plants prefer well-draining soil and should be placed in pots with drainage holes, while others thrive in self-watering or hanging planters.
